Time is a measurement by which we measure a beginning and an end. Every person is running out of time: there had been a start, birth; there will be an end at death. Was there a goal we should have sought; an aim so that our lives were not aimless; blindly trusting in chance?
When we read that ‘We are more than conquerors,” we can know this is because He with us sides. He is our Friend, our Shepherd, our Savior, even our Keeper. When our time has passed, our opportunities then gone for ever; when right and wrong have lost their place and choice is past-tense – Let it be that we learned to trust Him, turn and return to Him – abide in Him- – – and He in us.
